i. What are the steps to sign up?Signing up to drive with BoBo is easy.
1. Download the BoBo driver app
2. Sign up in app
3. Add your vehicle
4. Upload suitable documents
5. Background check
Once we've checked and approved everything, you can go online to receive requests and start earning.
ii. What is BoBo?
BoBo is a technology platform. The BoBo app connects driver-partners and riders.
As a driver-partner, you use your own vehicle to pick up riders and drive them to preferred destinations in your city. You're paid a fare for each completed trip.

iii. Requirements to sign up as a driver
BoBo driver-partners must present their Hong Kong Permanent ID Card and valid driver's license to be considered for driving on the BoBo platform.
You will also need to provide valid vehicle registration, vehicle licence, proof of insurance, Hire Car Permit or other relevant documents issued by the Transport Department, and the car must be manufactured within 10 years with 4 doors.
iv. Uploading documents
Upload documents
Your account profile must include personal and vehicle documents, such as photos of your driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
To upload documents through the Driver app:
1. Tap [Account] on the top right corner.
2. Tap [Documents].
3. Select the document you want to update.
4. Tap [Selfie] and [Take photo].
If you’ve been notified that one of your documents is rejected or expired, it may be due to one of these reason:
- Image is blurry or dark
- Document is expired or expiring soon
- Image does not include all 4 corners of the document
- Wrong document was uploaded
Add vehicle
You can add a vehicle from your account in the Driver App as well. To access the setting:
1. Tap [Account] on the top right corner.
2. Tap [Vehicles] -> [Add vehicle].
After the new information is reviewed, we’ll send you a push notification to confirm your vehicle has been activated.
